What's up! I am Jeff Peterson, I'm from Los Gatos, California, and I have been riding bicycles for 13 years. I got my first bike for my 4th birthday which was a Schwinn Gremlin that is still sitting in my garage to this day. That thing killed it.
I had just moved and my new neighbor raced BMX. My dad and I would go out to the track to watch sometimes and I had asked to try it out. When shopping for a new bike we looked for a BMX race bike. That sport took up the next 2 or 3 years of my life from age 7 to 10. My bike started breaking more and I began to outgrow it so it sat in the garage for a while.
As fate would have it I got my first dirt jump bike, a Giant Stp, for Christmas that year. Since then I've never gotten an entirely new bike, just tons of new parts and 3 frames. I now ride a Haro Thread Expert set up single speed. That thing rips the jumps. Aside from bikes, my riding in general has progressed at a very satisfying rate. I first began riding at the Aptos Post Office Jumps just over 2 years ago and now its my favorite spot. If you're ever in the area check and see if Im out there. Whats up guys the names Jayme. I love everything about bikes, from building to maintenance, paint work, customization and my favorite part RIDING and riding them hard. Im not a man of many words. But when it comes to describing myself, I let my creativity flow out through my riding. Ive been at it now for 19 years, starting at the age of 4 with BMX racing twice a week until I was about 14. I moved up to the world of 26" bikes when I discovered a local MTB shop where I quickly worked to secure a job as a mechanic and establish myself in the realm of the big bikes. My style is rather unique, consisting of a lot of technical brake work from my cross-training with trails and BMX street riding. Pushing limits is my passion; bikes and dirt are the pen and pad of which I wish to write a story, MY story! Might not be the best one you ever heard, but Ill be damned if you can wipe the smile off my face when I have bars in my hands and pedals under my feet!
